ms Zaandam

The ms Zaandam reflects a graceful combination of classic and state-of-the-art features found on board both the ms Rotterdam flagship and the Statendam-class vessels.

Special features include an alternative restaurant, Internet Cafe, a third staircase for convenient access to public rooms and a children's play room, as well as more of the popular mini-suites with verandahs. The Zaandam's predominant theme is music and will be featured in the ship's artwork and interior design elements.

Just a few of the places you'll find onboard.

Dining Room
In the Rotterdam Dining Room on board the ms Zaandam you will savor world-class cuisine served on the finest Rosenthal china. Delicate stemware and exquisite linens grace every table; impeccable service and a warm ambience are a sanctuary of civilization.

Atrium
The Atrium is a sublime arena of grand dimension, tempered by soft hues and the gentle play of light and glass. With its central location, the lively atrium is the focal point of the ship.

Lido Dining
Holland America was the first in the cruise industry to introduce a full Lido Restaurant on all ships. Come for breakfast and lunch, and for dinner on selected nights. The Lido features both an indoor, air-conditioned restaurant and portable buffet bars outside on the deck, offering a menu that is sure to please everyone.

"Oceaan" Boutiques
The "Oceaan" Boutiques on all Holland America Line ships provide a variety of wonderful merchandise from around the world. Items for purchase range from jewelry to clothing and souvenirs, together with a selection of toiletries and drug store sundries. The ships offer duty-free/tax-free prices for most items, and are open during the posted hours when the ship is at sea. The shops are not allowed to open in port in accordance with Customs regulations.
